During the time chirbit was down, i was forced to upload my recordings, limited to less than 5 minutes, to audioboo…Posted: October 2, 2012
It’s back up. 🙂
So yeah, as of this post, chirbit is down. I don’t know how long it’s been down, but it’s bothersome to have to use another source to upload my recordings to. Worst part, it limits it to LESS than 5 minutes. Next time, I’ll use beiks to upload the recording to viddler so I never have to worry about it again. I love viddler’s audio capabilities. First it was video, now it’s audio, no length limit, just like chirbit.
What I liked about chirbit: text to speech conversion. YES, it is the BEST at it. It uses a voice codec that is so clear. I am hoping it goes back up so I can then use it more often. Anons used it to make those messages on video. It’s one hell of a handy thing to have. But now? I can’t use it. Because it’s down.
So… I’ll be uploading it to viddler and audioboo depending on length and not bother with the one I’m blogging about. I just wish they had better uptime and less downtime. The site owner(s) don’t know how many count on it. Social audio is very important! It should never be out of reach.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. If you came across it, then you aren’t alone.
